Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan
Under the “Quest” initiative, Qatar Fund for Development and Qatar Charity, have implemented several projects aimed at improving access to life-saving primary healthcare services in Syria and in Syrian refugee host counties, with a primary focus on maternal and child health services. In Lebanon, for example, prenatal care is provided to Syrian refugees throughout pregnancy and during labor, through the provision of normal and cesarean delivery services, as well as other related healthcare services for pre- and post-natal women refugees.
Yemen
The project aims to improve access for women and children to a qualified and integrated health care “Minimum Services Package” (MSP) across ten health centers and district hospitals in Yemen’s Taiz, Al-Hudaydah and Sana’a governorates. The project also provides access to advance health care services through Khalifa Hospital, a referral hospital in Taiz governorate.
